Lennie Knowlton CMHC, the Founder and Executive Director of Project Connection, is a prominent mental health advocate renowned for her innovative approach to therapy integration. With extensive experience serving clients who have faced significant trauma, she emphasizes the importance of blending therapy with real-life connections to enhance therapeutic outcomes. Through Project Connection, Lennie has pioneered one of the first Social Prescribing programs for mental health in the United States. Additionally, she co-authored Utah's inaugural trauma training for foster and adoptive parents and has spoken at various events, including Brené Brown’s Courage Camp. Currently, she is developing the first implementation guide for Relational Social Prescribing. Lennie passionately believes that connection is fundamental to mental health and is dedicated to advancing this mission through her work with Social Prescribing USA.
